Here Are Some Simple Golf Tip’s To Help You Dominate The Green

Trouble with Hooking causing you shot to curve to the left.

If you are having problems hitting the ball in a strait line the first thing you want to do is look at your grip. Each hand should be in line with your right shoulder. If your hands are aligned to far right then your grip is too “strong” This could cause your shot to hook on impact. If you feel you have a proper grip and the ball is still hooking, relax your grip a little and move your hands to align more to your left shoulder.
Always make sure your in the proper stance. Your feet, knees, hips and shoulder should be straight with your mark(the ball).Sometimes we hook our shot because of the position of the ball and our body. Keep your body parallel with the ball.
Use the palm of your hands to tightly grip the club. This should keep the momentum on your arms and body rather than your wrist’s making for a more potent and accurate swing. We don’t want to loosen the wrist’s to much though, we want to be sure the tension is evenly distributed.

When getting ready to strike the ball we want to lead with our legs and body. This keeps from putting to much tension on the wrist’s and makes for a more comfortable and precise swing.

Don’t over analyze your shot

This mental golf tip is extremely helpful. Golf is not only a physical sport. The physical aspect being hitting the ball and making it go where you want it to go, but it is very much a mental game. Maybe even more so. We don’t want to over analyze or over think any shot. Over thinking your shots could and will lead to clogging of the brain which then sends week signals to the body. A great instructor once told me, “first you must imagine the ball going into the hole”. Don’t think about your last shots, just focus on the current shot. Focus on your breathing when you prepare for a shot. Let your imagination deal with all the other factors involved and you wont have to over think
